Studio - François Houtin

Not the clearest images on earth, but one can still get an idea of the beautiful space belonging to the very gifted artist, François Houtin. Famous for his highly detailed drawings of utopian gardens, a collaboration with Hermès ignited the creation of “Maison Enchantées”. The 21-piece cream faïence tableware was the first major earthenware service from La Table Hermès, inspired by 18th century gardens and philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s reflection on ‘back to nature’...

  1. I love peeking into an artist's studio, seeing the drawings and almost-made-its. His rough sketches are beautiful.

  2. Just love your studio! Such an inspiration!
